Ezra Blue’s Flight for Cancer 2026 Fun Run

When: Aug 15, 2026. 9:00AM
Why: We are holding our FOURTH annual fundraising run in honor of Ezra Blue. Ezra left us too early because of an aggressive brain tumor that failed initial treatment. He was supposed to begin a novel treatment for refractory brain tumors, but became too ill to begin treatment right before starting. All proceeds from this run go to Seattle Children’s Hospital. Particularly to the research projects related to the type of brain cancer he had, medulloblastoma.
Ezra would have turned nine years old this year, and in honor of that we will have a 9 mile run along with a 5K and a 10k. We are also including a 100 yard dash this year.
This is for younger children or people who would preferred to do a shorter distance.
We will have a commemorative t-shirt along with medals for the winner of each race.
This run is open to all experience levels.
The goal of this run is to remember Ezra and to raise money and to have fun. Please consider joining us for this run on August 15, 2026.
