Hatfield West Visitor Center\nHistoric Columbia River Highway State Trail – Twin Tunnels \nSpeaker event April 26 at 12 p.m.\nMariah Rocker\nPublic Programs and Exhibit\nManager\, Oregon Black Pioneers \nLearn about early Black history in Oregon through the\nstories of courageous pioneers who overcame the\nodds as they reached for the dream of safety and\nprosperity in Oregon. \nThis traveling exhibit features eight interpretive\npanels highlighting just a few of the approximately\n400 Black residents who came to Oregon from 1840\nto 1870.
