DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and festive event along the historic Columbia River Highway’s iconic Twin Tunnel trail. This is a paved road\, closed to vehicular traffic\, with amazing views of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. \nGet a good calorie burn before your holiday feast! Feeling extra festive? Dress in your best turkey costume. Pies awarded to top finishers in each category! \nAll proceeds support Mosier Community School family food assistance program. \nLocation: Registration and start/finish line are located at the Mark Hatfield Visitor’s Center on the (west) Hood River side of the Twin Tunnel trail. \nTime: 9:30am kids 1 mile start. 10:00am 5K and 12K start. Day of registration is 8:30-9:45am (register by 9:15 for kids run). \n**$5 Parking is limited! Please carpool!**. A state park pass is required to park at the visitor’s center. A day pass can be purchased for $5\, onsite kiosk accepts credit cards. \nCost: \nAdults: $15 (or $20 day of run) \nKids 2–17 any distance: $5 (or $10 day of run) \nFamily Special for 2 adults and all kids in household: $35 (pre-registration only) \nKids under 2: Free \n*Pre-registration ends Nov. 25th at 10:00PM. You can also mail or drop off a check at the school. Details below. \nT-Shirts \nAssorted kid and adult sizes available at pickup: $20 per shirt \nPre-registered details: Simply come to the pre-registration line for your tag on the morning of the run. \nDay of run details: If you haven’t pre-registered\, please come to the day of run sign up line. Cash\, check\, or credit cards accepted. \nOther details: Kids can enter any distance they wish. Adults can run next to small children in the kids event. This is an out-and-back run.
