DESCRIPTION:Appleton Community 4th of July Picnic and Potluck \nCelebrating 250 Years of America and More Than a Century of Appleton Traditions \nJoin friends\, family\, neighbors\, and descendants of Appleton’s early families for a day of food\, games\, history\, and community at the historic Appleton Log Hall. \nSaturday\, July 4\, 2026 \nAppleton Log Hall Park\n835 Appleton Road\, Appleton\, Washington \nPotluck Picnic \nBring a favorite dish\, dessert\, or beverage to share. \nOld-Fashioned Community Games \n* Baseball game (all ages welcome)\n* Cornhole\n* Horseshoes\n* Lawn games\n* Possible face painting for kids (depending on interest) \nEquipment will be provided. \nA Place Worth Remembering \nBuilt by community volunteers in 1912\, the Appleton Log Hall served for decades as the social heart of the community. Families gathered here for dances\, weddings\, meetings\, basketball games\, and the annual Fourth of July picnic. \nMany of our parents\, grandparents\, and great-grandparents celebrated here. Some attended the nearby Appleton School.
