DESCRIPTION:If you want to experience joy\, humor\, and beauty learning new ways to paint with acrylics and palette knives\, this class is for you!  Learning and reviewing classic techniques for composition\, value\, and color choices using palette knives\, brushes\, and other mark-making tools will add joyful color and flavor to your creations. The strategies instructor Laurel Bushman teaches in this class will guide you in creating paintings of a floral still life and a landscape\, from photos\, imagination\, and life. Simplify the big shapes\, put them into several value choices\, and choose color schemes that will fill your paintings with energy and beauty! Whether experienced or just starting out\, Laurel’s enthusiastic teaching style will energize you and help you reach new levels of creativity! \nSuggested materials: \nPAINT : Students may use whatever colors they feel comfortable with but heavy body acrylics are required for versatility with palette knives and brushes alike.
