OBT2 serves as a cultural ambassador of the performing arts throughout the Pacific Northwest. \n  \nOBT2 has performed in a wide variety of performing arts centers\, college campuses\, and outdoor festivals. This year’s tour features work by George Balanchine\, Ben Stevenson\, Artistic Director\, Dani Rowe\, OBT2 Director\, Dominic Walsh and company dancers\, Leigh Goldberger and Lauren Flower. \n  \nOregon Ballet Theatre presents OBT2\nOBT2\, Oregon Ballet Theatre’s second company\, is made up of 12-15 dancers who serve as ambassadors to the community while furthering their training under the direction of OBT2 Director Dominic Walsh. They perform throughout the Pacific Northwest as part of their annual spring tour. They also understudy and perform professional company roles throughout the season in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and other large-scale productions. OBT2 dancers also perform in the annual program OBT by Design\, which features world premieres choreographed for OBT2 by the artists of OBT.

OBT2 serves as a cultural ambassador of the performing arts throughout the Pacific Northwest. \n  \nOBT2 has performed in a wide variety of performing arts centers\, college campuses\, and outdoor festivals. This year’s tour features work by George Balanchine\, Ben Stevenson\, Artistic Director\, Dani Rowe\, OBT2 Director\, Dominic Walsh and company dancers\, Leigh Goldberger and Lauren Flower. \n  \nOregon Ballet Theatre presents OBT2\nOBT2\, Oregon Ballet Theatre’s second company\, is made up of 12-15 dancers who serve as ambassadors to the community while furthering their training under the direction of OBT2 Director Dominic Walsh. They perform throughout the Pacific Northwest as part of their annual spring tour. They also understudy and perform professional company roles throughout the season in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and other large-scale productions. OBT2 dancers also perform in the annual program OBT by Design\, which features world premieres choreographed for OBT2 by the artists of OBT.

SUMMARY:Cyanotype on Clothing
DESCRIPTION:Use the power of the sun to create curated botanical prints on your clothing using a photography technique called Cyanotype. Cyanotype predates the advent of modern photography and is able to capture details of items placed on the fabric when exposed to the sun. Students will use pre-treated pieces of cyanotype fabric to create the design then after the piece has dried\, students will return to Tokki for Day 2 where students will learn to sew their cyanotype piece to the clothing of their choice. \nPre-treated fabric will be provided and Lily will demonstrate the process of treating the fabric with the solution so students could try at home. A collection of items to use to create your design will be provided. Feel free to bring objects (dried plants\, flowers\, lace etc) to use in class. \nAll materials provided\, please bring an article of clothing that you would like to add your cyanotype to. Natural fabrics such as linen\, denim\, cotton and canvas will be ideal to learn to sew on. \nDate: Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th \nTime: 11am-12:30pm \nAges: 14+ \nCost: $65 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Tokki Art Supply Classroom
