After several years away\, Tonia has returned to help guide KB4C into its next chapter\, reigniting the event with the same spirit of purpose and community that started it all. \nThere will be kiteboarding\, winging\, foiling\, art-ing\, eating\, swimming and more fun activities for our community to come take part in! \nFor the past 17 years\, KB4C has benefited organizations such as Children’s Hospital Seattle\, Children’s Healing Art Project\, John Wayne Cancer Foundation\, Celilo Cancer Center\, OHSU Adolescent & Young Adult Clinic\, and Project Koru\, the local organization here in Hood River that was started because of Kiteboard 4 Cancer. \nNew this year\, KB4C will select three beneficiary organizations whose work strengthens the Gorge community in the areas of cancer care and support\, and/or mental health and wellness.\nThis approach allows the event to support several impactful programs each year while staying focused on the well-being of our community. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for our annual 4th of July Parade through downtown White Salmon on Saturday 7/4/26 starting at 11 am. You can be a part of the parade – walk\, ride or drive. Pre-registration appreciated\, but not mandatory.  Or sit along the sidewalks and watch the entertainment as it goes by. The parade ends at Rheingarten Park 250 N. Main St where we will have VIP seating for our veterans and their families for the live music entertainment provided by the Whiskey Flats Band.

OPT has been proud to share the stage at beautiful theaters and hails around the PNW with legendary acts like Ural Thomas and the Pain\, Y La Bamba\, Thee Sacred Souls\, The Dandy Warhols\, Edna Vasquez and many other incredible groups. Their third album “El Poder” will be released on June 19th\, 2026. \nOn a gloomy Pacific Northwest weekend in November 2020\, OPT started writing new material at a beach-side cabin for what would become their third full length album\, “El Poder”. The singin’ Coyotes help move things along while Ma and Pa Munch and the rest of the Munch Kin point out the way to Dr. Ozzy\, the Wizard of Frontier Medicine. Which way is that?
