DESCRIPTION:We are teaming up with The Dalles Dam Army Corps of Engineers for Eagle Watch 2026! \nThe Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum will be the Indoor Experience Headquarters for  Eagle Watch 2026.  Wild eagle viewing will be available at a few outdoor sites across the Gorge near Lyle and at The Dalles Dam. Intrepid wild eagle watchers can warm up at the Museum while they learn about this magnificent national bird. Museum visitors can pick up an Eagle Circuit Map\, learn where viewing conditions are best and have an amazing hands-on learning experience as they continue on their wild Eagle Watch Day.  \nCGDCM is partnering with organizations including the Xerces Society\, Oregon State Parks\, the Forest Service\, local authors and more for a free open house (9-3pm) on January 17th.  \n\nMeet Liberty and Ferguson – Throughout the day\, CGDCM Raptor Team specialists will offer visitors the chance to meet the Museum’s ambassador bald eagles\, Liberty and Ferguson and learn about eagle biology and behavior. \nEagle Movie Marathon – All-day CGDCM will show an eagle movie marathon in our beautiful and comfortable Murdock Theater. \nPERCH\, a raptor rehabilitation and wildlife education organization\, will be onsite with more live birds\, offering visitors a rare opportunity to see birds of prey up close while learning about their ecology\, conservation\, and recovery.\nHomemade Soups and hot beverages available in the Basalt Rock Cafe.

Whatever your family looks like\, you are invited! Tickets are $35 per “couple” plus $10 for each additional child. \nWhen you arrive\, you’ll check in upstairs at the Fort Dalles Readiness Center where you will get your commemorative ticket. Then\, you’ll head into the event where you can dance to our awesome DJ\, purchase and design your own specialty soda\, buy some yummy treats\, play some fun games (including cornhole!) and purchase raffle tickets for $1 to win any of our several gift baskets. We’ll have horse drawn carriage rides in the lower parking lot throughout the evening\, and don’t miss taking photos and getting your photo print outs at the photo booth sponsored by Columbia Gorge Honda and Toyota. We’ll have cowboy hat decorating that you can add on to your ticket purchase as well (quantities are limited\, so we suggest ordering ahead!). If you’re hungry\, you can order pizza from Pizza the Gathering! \nThis is a community-wide event for all families in The Gorge. \nWe’re excited to bring back this special event where all are welcome! DESCRIPTION:Connect with Spring Goddesses and joyfully attune to the year ahead. In this ceremony\, we take the time to deepen in the season’s gifts and immerse in delightful experience. Using egg divination and sacred color\, we imagine the year ahead through collaborative storytelling. Come be bathed in crystal bowl sound attunement. A service for all ages. Childcare provided. \nPlease note you are also welcomed to join us on the March Third Thursday (5:30-8 pm) to dye eggs in preparation for the Spring Equinox Ceremony. \nThe Gorge UU Fellowship (MCUUF) is a Fellowship of “Deeds\, not Creeds”.
