DESCRIPTION:This October\, Hood River County 4-H is offering a series of evening workshops where youth can create their own freezer jam\, fruit leather\, refrigerator pickles\, and healthy dehydrated snacks while learning real food preservation skills. \nNo 4-H membership required. Come for one workshop or join us for all four! \nAges 9-18 • $5 per class • Financial assistance available\nRegistration required: https://beav.es/YAp \nTopics:\nOctober 6 5:30pm-6:30pm – Refrigerator Pickles\nOctober 15 5:30-6:30pm – Freezer Jam\nOctober 22 5:30-6:30pm – Fruit Leather\nOctober 28 5:30-6:30pm – Apple & Kale Chips \nFamily members are welcome to stay for the class\, or drop off and pick up.
