Our first gathering and activity will be on Thursday\, January 8th starting at 5:30pm. Please bring a dish to share. \nThe activity will be garden planning and possible bulk seed buying along with an option for mending sweaters\, socks\, and more. Planning: We’ll go over some basic considerations for regenerative and permaculture approaches to interplanting guilds for those interested in garden planning. Plus we’ll have some resources for those interested in companion planting. Let’s all bring our seed catalogs if we have them. If there is interest in buying seeds together\, we can explore bulk seed buying. We can also explore the possibility of each starting certain plants for each other and having a start swap later in the season. \nMENDING: We’ll have a basic range of darning and mending materials\, including needles\, spools of wool yarn\, some threads and patch cloths\, crochet hooks\, and more.
