DESCRIPTION:Come run for a good cause! Participate in the Run with Heart 5k and support Operation Warm Heart\, a program that provides essential home energy assistance to individuals and families in our community experiencing financial difficulties. \nPresented by Skamania PUD\, The Columbia Gorge Running Club\, and Skamania Lodge\, this 5k race will start and finish at the Riverview Pavilion at Skamania Lodge and loop around the grounds on paved golf cart paths. This is a unique opportunity to run on golf cart paths that are generally not open to pedestrians. You will enjoy some amazing views of the Columbia River Gorge while making your way around the lovely grounds at the Lodge\, have an opportunity to win great prizes donated by Skamania Lodge\, all while helping raise funds for those in need. 100% of race proceeds and additional donations will go to Operation Warm Heart for residents in Skamania County. \nRegistration is $25 (Youth 18 and younger are FREE) with an option to donate more for the cause. \nRace starts at 9 am. Check-in will be available starting at the Riverview Pavilion at 8 am. This annual volunteer event supports clean water\, vibrant communities\, and healthy habitats. All ages are welcome\, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Come join your fellow community members\, make a difference\, and enjoy treats on us as a thank you for your help!
