DESCRIPTION:Gorge Happiness is excited to announce the next Community Meditation & Book Club series. Circle runs 10:30 am-noon on September 19th this month and continues through the fall and winter. We will be reading JoySpan by Dr. Kerry Burnight. This book gets great reviews on GoodReads and comes highly recommended. The circle is free. No need to RSVP. Please purchase or get a copy of the book from the library to read along with the group. This community circle is made possible through the support of Gorge Happiness\, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting wellbeing in our community.No need to read anything from the book before our first meeting. SUMMARY:Embroidery on Clothing: Large one line patterns
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to create large patterns on clothing by embroidering with Instructor Lily Carey. You will have the opportunity to add your own one line artwork onto the clothing of your choice. You will create your own art work\, transfer that onto stabilizer paper\, learn the basics of embroidery and how to embroider on clothing. No prior experience necessary. All materials provided except clothing to embroider\, so please bring a couple articles of clothing you’d like to add pops of creativity to. \n*Clothing with limited stretch (denim\, linen\, cotton\, canvas etc) will be the best options to learn on. \nDate: Friday February 20th \nTime: 5pm-8pm \nAges: 16+ \nCost: $60 \nLocation: Tokki Art Supply Classroom \nIf you cannot attend a class\, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund. \nStudents will receive a confirmation email of the purchase of the class. And 3 days prior to the class they will receive a reminder email. Please keep a look out for these emails.
