TDHS HOSA Community Costume Fun Run – November 1st!** \nHey TDHS Supporters\, \nReady to get spooky\, have a blast\, and support an awesome cause? \nThe **TDHS HOSA – Future Health Professionals** chapter is hosting the first annual **Community Halloween Fun Run** on **Saturday\, November 1st**\, and we need *you* there! \n**What is the Fun Run?** \nIt’s a community-wide event at **Sorosis Park** where everyone is encouraged to show up in their best (or spookiest!) costumes for a 1K\, 3K\, or 5K run/walk.\n* **When:** Saturday\, November 1st\n* **Where:** Sorosis Park (300 E Scenic Dr\, The Dalles\, OR 97058)\n* **Races:** 3K & 5K start at 10:00 AM | Littles (11 and under) 1K starts at 11:30 AM\n* **Prices:** 11 and under **$3 **| 12-18** $5 **| 19+ **$10**\n* **Payment: **TDHS School Store\, Cash\, or Check\n* **What Else:** We’ll have face painting\, photo booth\, raffles\, and community partner booths set up for extra fun!\n**Why Should You Go?**\n1. **Costumes!** When else do you get to run a 5K dressed like a ghost or a superhero?\n2. **Support Your Youth!** All proceeds go directly to the TDHS HOSA chapter to help pay for **every member** to attend the **State Leadership Conference (SLC)** in Portland this March! DESCRIPTION:Join us for a dazzling evening of music and celebration featuring international award-winning pianist Jim-Isaac Chua\, performing a selection of Frédéric Chopin’s masterpieces. Each piece will be introduced with personal\, engaging insights from the artist\, offering a unique window into Chopin’s genius. \nThis special concert benefits The Dalles Art Center\, supporting our arts programming for the community\, while beer and wine will be available for purchase to benefit the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center. In addition to the concert\, Jim-Isaac will visit local schools to inspire students with live performances and talks. The concert will take place at St. Mary’s Academy. \nGuests will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle\, featuring a private lunch with Jim-Isaac Chua and TDAC Executive Director Ellen Potter\, along with other generously donated prizes. \nAs our final fundraiser of the year and a festive kick-off to the holiday season\, we invite guests to dress to impress and bring their holiday cheer for a night of extraordinary music\, community spirit\, and celebration. \nThis event is generously sponsored by St. Mary’s Academy \nTickets are limited.
