DESCRIPTION:Returning to the Balch by popular demand\, Rich Swanger is a Salem\, Oregon-based songwriter with roots in folk\, gospel\, and country-blues.  \nBorn in the Appalachian hills of Pennsylvania\, Rich found harmony in church choirs and learned the sounds of classic country from his father before eventually moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2004.
