It is our intention you come away from this experience deeply relaxed and open to receive the blessings the universe has intended for you. \nWe will lead you through healing\, nourishing\, and therapeutic movements to release what’s stuck and holding us back and open our hearts for love and our minds for clarity. We will chant together\, meditate\, journal\, and discuss (if you like); and experience a deep sound healing at the end of the day. A healthy nourishing lunch and tea or coffee will also be included. Once you learn the eight basic shapes that make up the modern calligraphy alphabet\, you’ll be well on your way to making beautiful lettering. Taught by Portland artist Molly Chidsey\, she will provide a workbook to guide you along on this process. \nIn this introductory workshop\, you will learn: \n1. What modern calligraphy is and how is it different from handwriting \n2. How to use a brush pen to create thick and thin contrasting lines that define calligraphy \n3. The eight essential shapes that make up the calligraphy alphabet \n4. Sam likes to make jokes about what it’s like to be a sober parent and what jail is like in Yakima. \nSam recently signed a three-album deal with Stand Up! Records where he recorded and filmed his debut album\, Round Trip\, under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel. Round Trip immediately went to number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts. Sam is a recurring guest and has been heard by an estimated 2.5 million listeners on the nationally syndicated “Bob & Tom Radio Show.” \nSam was the runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. He’s also performed with the Addicts Comedy Tour and at NA and AA conventions all over the northwest. Her vengeful spirit seems to follow everyone who comes near\, and as Kipps recounts the story\, the two men (and the audience) are drawn into a web of supernatural dread where the line between the living and the dead grows terrifyingly thin. \nEvery flicker of light\, every whisper of wind\, and every haunting sound effect becomes a character in its own right\, amplifying the suspense and pulling you deeper into the story.
