Artist and naturalist Jen Smith draws inspiration from the high deserts of Wyoming and Montana\, as well as the Columbia River Gorge of Washington and Oregon\, where she now makes her home. \nSmith’s work captures the power\, grace\, and vitality of birds of prey\, balancing anatomical accuracy with expressive energy. A lifelong wildlife advocate\, she hopes to inspire viewers to understand both the beauty and the ecological importance of these dynamic hunters. Her artwork has been nationally recognized in exhibitions at the National Museum of Wildlife Art\, the High Desert Museum\, and the World Center for Birds of Prey. \nMain Gallery | The Spirit Art of Steve Stegall: A Retrorespective \nThis retrospective celebrates the life’s work of Pacific Northwest artist Steve Stegall\, a self-taught and fiercely independent creator whose drawings and sculptures channel the primal energies of the natural world. For more than four decades\, Stegall has transformed wood\, stone\, shed antlers and pen-and-ink doodles into “Spirit Art” — meditative works that reflect the forms of human figures\, goddesses\, and spirit animals. \nStegall’s work draws inspiration from diverse traditions including Celtic\, Eskimo\, Northwest Coast Native\, Maori\, Mayan\, and Egyptian art\, while weaving in the fluid grace of Art Nouveau. But ultimately\, Stegall’s work is about the discoveries he’s made during the dialogue between his hands\, tools\, and the spirit of the natural materials themselves. DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to relax\, unwind\, and elevate your spirit?Now\, is the time to enliven your dreams and invite love\, and abundance\, into every moment.Come set intentions for the new moon with Katrina & Shaunna! \nEnjoy a one-day retreat with Shaunna Sutcliffe\, Holistic Yoga Therapist\, and Teacher/Healer Katrina Cantu\, at the beautiful Society\, Hot Springs Hotel in Bingen\, Washington. \nBring your yoga mat\, yoga blanket\, blocks\, and yoga strap; along with a swimsuit for this deeply relaxing\, rejuvenating\, and healing experience. It is our intention you come away from this experience deeply relaxed and open to receive the blessings the universe has intended for you. \nWe will lead you through healing\, nourishing\, and therapeutic movements to release what’s stuck and holding us back and open our hearts for love and our minds for clarity. We will chant together\, meditate\, journal\, and discuss (if you like); and experience a deep sound healing at the end of the day. A healthy nourishing lunch and tea or coffee will also be included. Afterward\, we will enjoy an hour in the soaking pools and sauna. This is optional but must be paid to us if you are not a hotel guest\, $25 if you are not a hotel guest. Breakfast\, snacks\, and dinner are not included. \nSaturday\, Agenda: 9:30 am-4:30 pm \n9:30-10 am: Welcome\, tea\, and agenda \n10 am-12 pm: Shaunna will lead us through breathwork and short guided meditation with journal prompts to release/let go. Then we will try some nourishing yoga movements\, self-massage\, and playful dance to break up the past “stickiness” in our muscles\, tissues\, hearts\, and minds.
