DESCRIPTION:Ready to turn your iPad into a portable art studio? In this introductory 2 day workshop\, hands-on mini course\, you’ll dive into the world of digital painting using Procreate\, the powerful and intuitive app used by artists everywhere. \nIn just 4 hours total\, you’ll learn how to: \n• Navigate Procreate basics. Create and save new files\, manage file formats \n• Use layers\, brushes\, and color tools \n• Sketch\, ink\, and paint your own digital image \n• Export and share your art\, including time-lapse video recordings of your process \nNo experience is necessary—just bring your iPad\, the Procreate app\, and an open mind. You’ll \nleave with a basic understanding of digital art tools and one or two small projects you’ve created \nyourself. Students will work from the same reference photos of an apple and sunflowers. \niPad + Procreate required. Curiosity and a sense of fun highly encouraged. \nMaterials List: \n• iPad: At least a 6th-generation iPad (2018 or newer) \n• Apple Pencil: 1st or 2nd Generation\, depending on your iPad model \n• Software: iPadOS 15.4 or later \n• Procreate App: Latest version from the App Store (currently around $12.99 one-time \npurchase) \nDates: Tuesdays May 5th and 12th \nTime: 5:30-8pm \nAges: 14+ \nCost: $75 \nLocation: Tokki Art Supply Classroom \nIf you cannot attend a class\, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund. \nStudents will receive a confirmation email of the purchase of the class.
