Designed for curious beginners and seasoned art lovers alike\, this series builds a strong foundation in the principles of art design\, composition\, and style. Participants will learn how these elements shape our experience of art and discover new ways to observe\, interpret\, and enjoy the work around us.  \nWith that groundwork in place\, the class will move into focused sessions on landscapes\, abstract art\, portraiture\, and photography. Each week offers guided conversation and close looking\, helping you deepen your understanding of artistic choices and expand your capacity to see with intention. \nNo previous art experience is needed\, just an interest in learning and a desire to engage more fully with art. \nSign up for the entire series\, or choose a specific program that interests you! \n \nAbout the Instructor \nKerry Cobb teaches adult education courses in art history\, art appreciation\, and literature\, bringing an accessible and engaging approach to every subject she leads. We will donate $1.00 of every beverage sold between 5pm and close to a featured non-profit organization. \n⚡️ This week’s Launch Party and Troll Hunt Community Night will be benefiting a local non-profit\, Main Street Cascade Locks! This event is open to the public and all are welcome to join. \n✨ This Launch Party and Troll Hunt (with prizes) will kick off the community-wide centennial of The Bridge of the Gods in October 2026. Main Street Cascade Locks is coordinating with businesses\, government agencies\, tribal governments and non-profit organizations to present a spectacular festival of events. \n🍻 Cheers!
