Jodi will demonstrate how a limited palette can still create rich\, expressive drawings full of depth and subtle color. \nUsing examples from her own artwork including Vigilant\, In a Veil\, and In a Red Shirt—Jodi will show how she builds her signature soft-light portraits of both people and animals. You’ll learn how she layers hues\, blends edges\, and uses simple tools to create atmospheric\, emotive pieces. \nThis demo is perfect for anyone curious about PanPastels or looking to add a new sense of softness and color to their drawing practice. Come play with us as we create Into the Woods…. \nAuditionsLocation: Columbia Center for the ArtsSunday\, February 1\, 2026 from 1-4 PMMonday\, February 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 PMAges 18 and older are welcome to audition.Please prepare two minutes of a song that you are comfortable with and that shows your range.Also please share a funny story\, a meaningful experience or your favorite joke with us. \nCallbacksWednesday\, Feb 4 at 6:30 PMPlease be prepared to move and do some fun improvisation. You may be asked to sing some songs from the show. \nThis is a true ensemble piece; everyone is on stage the whole time. Cast will be 10-14 people\, many playing multiple roles. The performance will be May 8-23\, Fri & Sat evenings and Sunday matinees. We look forward to creating with you!
