SUMMARY:Trout Lake Hall BARN BURNER: Family Mystic / Sean McLean & The Vibetenders
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, November 20th\, 2026 \n$15 Advance // $20 Day of6pm Doors / 7pm ShowAll Ages \nBARN BURNER shows are all about the dancing! No matter who might be on the stage\, you are guaranteed to groove. \nFAMILY MYSTIC \nFamily Mystic is a rising force in the west coast music scene led by rich four-part vocal harmonies & ecstatic grooves. Their passion for music weaves classic funk/soul\, 70’s psychedelic rock\, modern americana\, disco\, & jazz fusion into a tapestry of sound that provides an undeniably good time on the dance floor. Through storytelling\, nostalgic yet innovative songcrafting\, and curation of impactful gatherings\, they’ve established themselves as a standout live experience on the west coast festival & venue circuit\, bridging an array of communities together while they’re at it. \nOver the years they’ve supported national touring acts such as Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident)\, Dogs in A Pile\, Pink Talking Fish\, Diggin Dirt\, March Fourth Marching Band\, Kendall Street Company & Banshee Tree to name a few. They’ve shared festival stages with Melvin Seals & JGB\, Moonalice\, California Honeydrops\, Porangui\, MaMuse\, & many more greats. Family Mystic’s luminous songwriting\, lush vocal harmonies\, tight rhythm section\, & sensational musicianship\, is a must see live performance. \nTheir sound is fueled by the soul-stirring guitar playing of Marcelo Guitron\, groove-laden keys & ethereal falsetto of Ian Love\, and virtuosic musicality of Matthew Serino (bass)\, Tommy Serino (drums) and Todd Wason (aux drums). A band of dedicated songwriters expressing life through “feel-good” music that is both accessible & explorative. Flavors reminiscent of Jerry Garcia\, Herbie Hancock\, CSNY\, & Michael Jackson inspire this gumbo of sound & influence that touches on a wide spectrum of the human experience. \nFounded in 2019\, touring the west coast since 2020 with the intention of using their musical platform to bring people together & cultivating a sense of belonging through community. What began as gathering large crowds at their infamous pop-up park shows has evolved into them making poised appearances at some of the most well known & loved festival & venue stages on the west coast like Oregon Country Fair\, Cascade Equinox\, Re/evolution Summerjam\, Imagine Music & Arts Festival\, and Conscious Growth Convergence. They are currently working on their 3rd studio album and preparing to expand touring routes to bring their music to as many people as possible. \n“All the love you found in your whole life… It’s growing\, it’s growing.” \nSEAN MCLEAN & THE VIBETENDERS \nSean McLean and the Vibetenders are an upbeat indie soul jamband with elements of funk\, blues and americana. The frontman Sean McLean is best known as the sax and guitar player for local dancefloor instigators\, World’s Finest. He can also be seen playing around the country making guest appearances with bands from the jam scene such as Umphrey’s McGee and Daniel Donato to name a few. Sean’s Music features Original songs as well as a clever blend of classic and unique covers curated to get the dance party started. Sean is backed up by a cast of some of the best musicians in Portland. Every Vibetenders show is a great time and\, of course\, guaranteed to be the perfect vibe.

SUMMARY:Unseen: Invisible Wounds\, Invincible Spirit
DESCRIPTION:UNSEEN | Directed by Chad Brown\nScreening: 7:00 PM | Doors at 6:30pm.\nRuntime is 65 minutes\, followed by a live Q&A\nTickets $15 \nUNSEEN is a striking 65-minute documentary from award-winning filmmaker\, Navy veteran\, and conservationist Chad Brown. \nThe film follows five military veterans as they take on a grueling 200-mile bikepacking expedition through Oregon’s wilderness. Along the way\, they navigate their own invisible wounds of trauma and PTSD while tracing the forgotten footsteps of the Triple Nickels\, the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion\, America’s first all-Black smokejumper unit. \nDuring World War II\, the Triple Nickels were sent to the Pacific Northwest on a classified domestic mission\, parachuting into remote forests to protect Oregon’s forests while being denied the opportunity to serve in combat. \nUNSEEN brings these two journeys together in a story about resilience\, service\, history\, and the role the outdoors can play in healing. \nHood River is a fitting place for the final stop of the UNSEEN tour. The Oregon Timber Trail\, which stretches more than 600 miles through the state\, finishes its route here in the Columbia River Gorge. The screening brings the film’s journey full circle and offers an opportunity for veterans\, outdoor enthusiasts\, history lovers\, and the wider Gorge community to come together around a uniquely Oregon story. \nUNSEEN is directed by Chad Brown and supported in part by Travel Oregon and Oregon Film. Brown’s work as a filmmaker\, photographer\, and advocate has focused on outdoor access\, conservation\, racial equity\, and the experiences of veterans. \nAbout Our Partner\, Love Is King:\nLove Is King is a justice‑driven conservation movement working from the Lower 48 to the Arctic Refuge to protect land\, water\, wildlife\, and Indigenous sovereignty. Through land‑based Living Programs\, we uplift youth\, veterans\, and diverse leaders whose lived experience on the land strengthens conservation outcomes. \nWe restore habitat\, advance advocacy\, and build leaders who help protect North America’s natural places for current and future generations ensuring wild lands remain free\, safe\, and accessible for all. loveisking.org \nUnseen: Invisible Wounds\, Invincible Spirit\nFriday\, November 20\, doors 6:30 p.m.\, film 7 p.m.\nColumbia Center for the Arts\, 215 Cascade Ave\, Hood River\nTickets $15\nTickets: events.columbiaarts.org/events/columbiaarts/2450697
