This feast gathers community members\, local food supporters\, farmers\, chefs\, businesses and organizational partners to celebrate the bounty in the heart of the Hood River Valley. Guests will enjoy delicious courses prepared by Executive Chef Ben Stenn of Celilo Restaurant & Bar. \nThe evening will begin with a delightful cocktail hour at 4:00 featuring appetizers and amazing locally-crafted beer\, wine\, non-alcoholic beverages and live music. \nDinner will begin at 5:00 and highlight dazzling seasonal produce and savory local meat raised right here in the Gorge\, served family style with an assortment of preparations including vegetarian courses. Wine tastings will be served with each course. \n  \nAll proceeds from this event will benefit Gorge Grown Food Network. Our mission: to build a resilient and inclusive regional food system that improves the health and well-being of our community. DESCRIPTION:Learn how to create pops of creativity on clothing by embroidering with Instructor Lily Carey. You will have the opportunity to add the premade artwork onto the collars or pockets of the clothing of your choice. You will learn the basics of embroidery\, how to embroider on clothing and how to create your own designs. No prior experience necessary. All materials provided except clothing to embroider\, so please bring a couple articles of clothing you’d like to jazz up. \nClothing with limited stretch (denim\, linen\, cotton\, canvas etc) will be the best options to learn on. \nDate: Friday September 11 \nTime: 5-8pm \nAges: 16+ \nCost: $60 \nLocation: Tokki Art Supply Classroom – 208 4th st\, Hood River \nIf you cannot attend a class\, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund. \nStudents will receive a confirmation email of the purchase of the class. Founded in the late 2010s\, the band has been actively touring around the Pacific Northwest and beyond since 2022. \nTheir novel antiviral approach of being a “secret band” has only fueled their reputation.Their super secret sound morphs from psychedelic\, to funk\, to jam\, to rock\, to reggae\, to jazz and back in a spacey journey throughout a typical set. According to the band they are perhaps best described as Psyop Rock or “some funky sh*t you’d wanna rage to at a festival late-night.”  \nSuper Secret Band performs a mix of originals and secret covers live as a 6-9 piece band with Drums\, Bass\, Guitars\, Keys\, Horns and vocals. \nLed by multi-instrumentalist and producer Brill Ritter\, the band leans on the powerful funky rhythm section of Ryan Wykert on drums\, Scot Cowherd on percussion\, and Kody Kindhart on bass. Josh Wiley Marks plays guitar and fronts the band\, and Evan Boller (aka “Boller Time”) plays lead guitar. Frequent guests trombonist Jeff Chilton\, and Saxophonist/Floutist J.D.
