SUMMARY:Gorge Winter Gear Swap
DESCRIPTION:The Gorge Winter Gear Swap is a community event that raises money for the Alpine\, Snowboarding and Freeride time at Hood River High School.  The funds raised are split evenly between the teams and are used to pay for coaches\, equipment and travel (if they qualify for state).   Equipment that needs to be sold is dropped off on the evening of the 7th and the sale starts the morning of the 8th.  There is an admission fee for early admission\, but the fee decreases as the day goes on. \nThe board is not established as a non-profit\, we are working on that but all the money we raise is used for the teams.  The alpine team was able to purchase race helmets for the team and provide some necessary equipment for some of the team members that did not have appropiate gear.  The event is on the 8th\, but the drop off for equipment is on the 7th.  Not sure how to put that into

In this two-hour workshop\, we’ll build on the fundamentals and explore new techniques for creating more complex and realistic work. \nInstruction includes: \n\nTransferring your initial sketch to high-quality paper\nWorking effectively with photo references\nExploring negative space drawing\, both structured (such as branches or loose strands of hair) and spontaneous (such as grass\, fur\, and flowing hair)\n\nStudents will practice these techniques through guided small projects on provided paper\, with individual help as needed.
