Yak Fest 2023

Originally named for the beautiful yak wool shawls we sell, Yak Fest has evolved into a free and fun event to raise friends, fun, and funds for the Hood River based non-profit organization, ParticipAid.

ParticipAid builds sustainable healthcare resources with the local people of rural Nepal. We promote indigenous knowledge and use plants and food as medicine to prevent disease and build health!

We invite you to come learn about ParticipAid and Nepal . Try delicious Nepali food, taste their medicine in a yummy tea, hear from our founders, get one of a kind Christmas gifts made in OR and Nepal, and listen to live music from local band, Banjovi!
