This show will be one of a handful of benefit concerts this Spring/Winter at The Ruins, supporting local non-profit groups.
Tony Smiley has captured audiences with the raw rhythms of all live looping. This musical savant loops his way through a unique genre of music that you won’t find anywhere else—all with a witty, engaging, and energetic stage presence.
Layering all live recordings of every instrument on stage (nothing pre-recorded), these melodies range from rock, hip hop, 80’s, and everything in between. A dash of beat-boxing, a lifetime of musical experience, and a well-seasoned stage performance all have earned the loop ninja a cult-like following that repeatedly embarks on his musical journey.
Creating each track with a raw and primal pulsating connection between rich rhythms and passionate lyrics, Tony Smiley will surely captivate all who witness his amazing shows.
