The Mousetrap is Agatha Christie’s famous murder mystery play, known as the longest-running play in the world, which premiered in London in 1952. Set in the snowbound Monkswell Manor, it follows a group of strangers trapped by a blizzard who realize a murderer is among them after a local murder is reported and a second victim is found. The play is famous for its classic whodunit structure, red herrings, and a legendary twist ending that audiences are asked to keep secret.
