THE LOST PHOTOS OF THE COLUMBIA GORGE (1914-1930s)

April 3 @ 7:00 pm

Join us April 3rd at 7:00 PM at the Bingen Theater for a special presentation of newly restored historical photographs of the Columbia River Gorge, Celilo Falls, and surrounding regions.
Photographer I. R. Robison captured these images on glass plate negatives between 1914 and the 1930s. Many depict places that no longer exist—a rare visual record of the Pacific Northwest during dramatic change.

Event Highlights:

Large-scale projection of carefully restored photographs
Discussion of historic glass plate photography process
Original camera Robison used on display
Members of the Robison family present
Restoration by Portland photo-archive specialist Patrick F. Smith
