
Summer Harvest Winemaker’s Dinner

A 5-COURSE WINE-PAIRED EVENING WITH SHADOWBUCK WINERY & BISTRO 1907 AT THE BALCH HOTEL
ShadowBuck Winery & Farm — the Northwest’s first 100% solar winery and ranch — sits in the hills just beyond Dufur. On Saturday, September 6, their wines and lamb take center stage at the historic Balch Hotel’s alfresco Summer Harvest Wine Dinner.
Bistro 1907 (the hotel’s in-house restaurant) will present a five-course menu that celebrates the season, including grilled peaches with pinot noir vinaigrette, basil and feta-dusted vegetables, ShadowBuck’s own estate-raised lamb, and a sweet finish of cornbread with mint honey and blueberry compote. Each course pairs with ShadowBuck’s estate-grown wines: sparkling pinot noir, malbec rosé, pinot noir pommard, syrah, and port-style syrah.
