Small Forward has been a staple of LA’s diy music scene since 2017, delivering their own brand of home-recorded, country-infused, indie rock. Florida-born and LA-based singer-songwriter Laney Tripp creates music that lives in the quiet in-between. Her latest album Angel unfolds like a series of journal entries — tender, reflective songs carried by organic textures and a subtle swampy undercurrent.
