CGOA’s Jazz Collective Big Band and Stages Musical Theatre join forces for a Broadway-and-Big-Band night with dancing encouraged
HOOD RIVER, Ore. (March 2026) — The Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association (CGOA) invites the community to Singin’ and Swingin’, a special concert/dance evening featuring CGOA’s Jazz Collective Big Band and Stages Musical Theatre ensembles together on one stage. Expect a crowd-pleasing mix of beloved Broadway favorites (classic and contemporary), jazz-era energy, and a room that’s meant to move—swingin’ on the dance floor is highly encouraged.
The event takes place Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM at The Ruins (13 Railroad Street) in downtown Hood River. This is an all-ages event. Tickets are on sale now at gorgeorchestra.org. Adults $25; CGOA Members $20; Students/Youth FREE (HS & college students show ID at the door). $5 tickets are available at the door for SNAP card holders.

About the Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association (CGOA)
CGOA is a regional performing arts organization dedicated to presenting outstanding live music experiences in the Columbia River Gorge. CGOA supports and produces a wide range of performances and ensembles—from orchestral and choral programming to musical theatre and big band jazz—creating opportunities for audiences and local musicians alike.
Michael Paul serves as musical director of CGOA’s Jazz Collective Big Band and is also the band’s lead trumpet. He has been a core part of the ensemble since joining as lead trumpet in 2017 and later stepping into the director role, shaping the band’s sound, repertoire, and high-impact dance-night energy.
