Realistic Textures in Pencil

This class is for students who have a desire to learn the fundamental skills of drawing from reality using photo reference. In this two hour introduction, we will cover:

– tools used, including pencils, paper, erasers, and my secret weapon!

– Techniques on how to draw full backgrounds, shading skin and clothing, drawing hair, fur, leather and metal.

– How to transfer a sketch onto high-quality paper for a finished project.

– Time to practice all techniques taught with individual instruction as needed.

All pencils and paper are provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own drawing tools. There will be a pre-sketched project given to all students for in class practice they may take home.

Bring your creativity, your eagerness to learn and no prior drawing experience is necessary.

If you cannot attend a class, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund.

Students will receive a confirmation email of the purchase of the class. And 3 days prior to the class they will receive a reminder email. Please keep a look out for these emails.
