Quilt Show Cancellation
October 2
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Columbia River Gorge Quilt Guild quilt show scheduled for October 2 and 3, 2026, has been cancelled. The Hood River Fairgrounds has been appropriated for a Wildfire Response base camp by the U.S. Forest Service.
We understand that this late notice is a large inconvenience for you and we are very sorry. We had hoped that the containment of the large fires in our area and the recent rains would allow us to hold the show. The mop up work has taken longer than anticipated and the crews need to leave the Mt Hood Meadows property due to colder weather. Hence, the move to the fairgrounds in Odell.
Our Guild is proud to support the fire fighters who keep our forests and homes safe. Thank you fire fighters, and we will see you at the 2027 show!
