Origami Workshop

Join us at the museum for a lesson in paper folding! Learn how to make your very first crane or show off your skills will how quickly you can fold.
Volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate how to make traditional Japanese paper cranes. The cranes will be donated to Hood River sister city, Tsuruta, Japan as part of a 2026 summer exchange program. Help us reach our goal of 1,000 cranes!
Suggested donation of $2.00 for supplies.
Event open to the public. No registration required.
Dates – October 8, 11, 15, and 25. All start at 1pm and run to 3pm
