Oil Pastel Landscapes

In this class students will be learning how to create landscapes focused on capturing effects of light and atmosphere in nature. With a loose and expressive style students will learn the basics of Oil Pastels like layering, using quick gestural strokes decisively, and color blending. They will gain an understanding of what makes a balanced and harmonious piece by following the process from start to finish, from blocking-in general values and the addition of beautiful light and layers.
