Live at the Balch: Merle Law is a Portland-based singer-songwriter with deep roots in New Orleans and the Northeast.
Born Meredith Law to a Philly drummer and a singer from south Louisiana, her music is timeless and genre-bending, with a Southern undercurrent. Formerly performing under the name Palm Sunday, Merle released the debut album Wishful Thinking showcasing deep, emotional vocals. Merle’s next full-length album is set to release in 2025.

About the Balch Hotel: Tucked in the foothills of Mt. Hood where the Columbia Gorge meets Oregon’s High Desert, the Balch is a 20-room landmark inn and event venue built in 1907, just south of The Dalles in the little town of Dufur.
