March HubTalk: A Seat At The Table

March 12 @ 5:30 pm

Women leaders discuss risk, ownership, growth, decision-making and what it takes to shape the Gorge economy.
Join Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub for our March HubTalk: A Seat At The Table: Women Shaping the Gorge Economy.

Who is making decisions that shape our regional economy? This month’s HubTalk centers women who are leading businesses and institutions across the Gorge. These are founders, executives, and operators who carry responsibility for hiring, investment, growth, and long-term direction.

The conversation will examine what it takes for women to build and lead in a rural economy. We will discuss risk, ownership, negotiation, workforce challenges, and the structural realities women navigate while growing companies and guiding organizations. Panelists will share candid reflections on tradeoffs they have faced and how they approach leadership in environments where influence is not always evenly distributed.

Rather than focusing on inspiration or advice, this discussion will focus on perspective and accountability. Where do women currently hold influence in the Gorge economy? Where are there still barriers? What has shifted in recent years, and what has not?

This HubTalk is designed for founders, business owners, operators, and community members interested in how women are shaping economic outcomes in our region and how broader access to leadership strengthens the overall ecosystem.
