Latourell Loop Hike

January 13 @ 11:00 am

Difficult level for this hike is easy-moderate. Family friendly hike for singles with kids 8 and older, if you choose to bring them. This loop hike is only 2.4 miles round trip with a moderate incline.
We will meet at the Guy W Talbot State Park Picnic shelter at 11:00 a.m. There is a trailhead that starts at the park and leads you under Historical Highway Bridge, within minutes we will be at Latourell Falls. In the Latourell Falls parking lot there is another trail that leads 1.2 miles to Upper Latourell Falls. From there we will finish the loop hike back to the Guy W Talbot State Park Picnic shelter.
If we have snow on the ground or if it is falling on this day, we may shorten the hike to just the lower falls and back, but it will be a perfect opportunity to get winter pictures at Latourell Falls. Watch the local forecast for appropriate dress apparel and I’ll keep this event updated with any weather conditions that may impact this event.
Meet-up afterwards at Multnomah Falls where you can purchase Hot-Chocolate and get more great photo’s.
