Intro to Realistic Drawing

Learn the fundamental skills of drawing from photo references in this two-hour introductory class with artist Kim Ragsdale. Perfect for beginners, this class will cover essential tools and techniques including line and tonal drawing, shading, erasing, blending, layering, and even a few of Kim’s secret tricks.

We’ll practice techniques through guided exercises, including a pre-sketched eye study that students can take home.

All supplies are provided, though students are welcome to bring their own drawing tools. Individual instruction will be available throughout class. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and eagerness to learn.

If you cannot attend a class, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund.
