Impressionist Oil Pastel Landscapes

In this class students will be learning how to create impressionist landscapes focused on capturing effects of light and atmosphere in nature. With this loose and expressive style students will learn the basics of Oil Pastels like layering, using quick gestural strokes decisively, and color blending. They will gain an understanding of what makes a balanced and harmonious piece by following the process from start to finish, from blocking-in general values and the addition of beautiful light and layers.

Location: Tokki Art Supply Classroom 208 4th st, Hood River
If you cannot attend a class, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund.
Students will receive a confirmation email of the purchase of the class. And 3 days prior to the class they will receive a reminder email. Please keep a look out for these emails.
