Spend the evening with us as four songwriters, Ben Johnson, Mack John, Kyle J. Glenn and Tom Letson take to the stage to share their songs and the stories behind them.

BEN JOHNSON
With a rich and smoky voice honed in the endless mountains and lonesome deserts of the west, Ben Johnson tumbled into the Portland, Oregon music scene offering a vivid and stark portrait of real American life.
Writing in the style of Dylan, Prine, and Hank Williams, his loyalty to the American songbook is eclipsed only by his dedication to convey the often heartbreaking circumstances of the stories surrounding him.
His enduring originality in both sound and lyrical direction reminds listeners of the golden age of folk and country/western music..all the while simultaneously carving his own soothing path.

MACK JOHN
Mack John is a singer-songwriter based in the Pacific Northwest with a voice as intimate and powerful as the stories she tells. Blending Regina Spektor-like eclectic folk-pop vocals with roots-infused rock rhythms reminiscent of Sheryl Crow, Mack’s music is both relatable and uplifting, providing a haven for listeners seeking refuge from societal expectations and an invitation to embrace their authentic selves. Mack also leads a dream rock project called Friends Friends.

KYLE J. GLENN
Unapologetically raw and sung straight from the heart, the Portland-based Kyle J. Glenn’s music juxtaposes inner monologues with triumphant declarations. Bittersweet chords collide against hope-tinged lyrics, taking listeners on a captivating sonic journey that ebbs and flows between tension and resolution.
With a wide-range of influences, today he cites Gillian Welch, John Prine and The Mountain Goats as a few notable musicians that have helped him forge his own sound and identity as an artist.

TOM LETSON
Tom Letson is a long time troubadour who’s been hurlin’ songs into the vast expanse for over 10 years. Starting out as a buskin’ hobo, he worked his way up to perform at various bars and venues across North America through skillful songwriting, fingerpicking, slide guitar, and clawhammer banjo. He’s appeared on festival bills with world renowned acts such as Willie Watson, Charlie Parr, Brothers Comatose, Haley Heynderickx, Possessed by Paul James, and more. In 2023, he joined up with drummer & brother Justin Letson to form Tom Letson & the Letdown while living in Haines, AK. They’re a vintage sounding roots duo drawing influence from the prewar Piedmont & Hill-Country Blues, Appalachian Mountain Music, and Alt Rock. They’re currently based out of Oregon, and can be found playing shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.
