5:30p: Plant Sale $3 – $6 per start
Come learn the basics of gardening to set you up for success this spring. Come learn about how to care for your soil, seed starting, and learn tips and tricks for a successful garden, including irrigation, garden design, and specific plant success. You will walk away from this workshop with a better understanding of how to get started on your garden and ensure its success into the season.
Rachel Suits comes from a lifetime of loving the garden from her experience on her family’s small farm growing up, a degree in agricultural entomology, work as a community based educator in gardening and farming, as well as the almost half acre garden that she maintains now. Rachel comes with a varied interest in plants from their medicinal uses, healthy and nutritious foods, and even the encouragement of beneficial insects to manage pests in the garden.
