Figure Drawing Basics

Discover the expressive power of charcoal in this dynamic drawing class focused on gesture and mark-making with instructor Janet O’Sullivan. Working from a series of photo references, you’ll practice capturing movement, rhythm, and form with bold, confident lines. Through both quick sketches and longer studies, you’ll learn to loosen up, trust your hand, and develop a personal approach to strong marks and gestural drawing. Perfect for artists who want to strengthen their drawing foundations or bring more energy and immediacy into their work.

If you cannot attend a class, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund.
Students will receive a confirmation email of the purchase of the class. And 3 days prior to the class they will receive a reminder email. Please keep a look out for these emails.
