Embroidery Basics: Nordic Houses

Learn the basics of embroidery focusing on satin stitch with artist Lily Carey. Students will learn how to create their own embroidered works with satin stitch, a powerhouse stitch that is used to easily fill in spaces with beautiful colors. Students will be provided with a hoop, fabric, embroidery floss and pre-made Nordic Houses artwork that they can work their magic on. Hopefully they will leave with a healthy addiction to embroidery!
All materials will be provided.
