Embroidery 101

May 22 @ 6:00 pm

Discover the art of embroidery in this welcoming, beginner-friendly class designed to build both skill and confidence. Students will learn the foundations of embroidery, including how to choose and use materials, start and finish a hoop, and practice seven versatile stitches that can be applied to future projects. Along the way, Katherine will share helpful techniques, best practices, and a refreshing perspective on which “rules” can be bent or broken.

At its core, this class is about embracing the process. Embroidery offers a rare freedom to slow down, experiment, and even make mistakes. If something doesn’t work, simply take the stitch out and try again. Students will leave with a completed piece, a strong foundation of skills, and the confidence to continue exploring embroidery as both a craft and a creative outlet.
