Drawing and Painting Birds

Learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting with instructor Janet as you explore the graceful world of birds. In this class, you’ll practice simplifying avian anatomy while capturing each bird’s unique personality and charm. Perfect for bird enthusiasts and anyone looking to strengthen their drawing and painting skills, this session uses photo references for guidance.
Students will begin with exercises that help find the important values and shapes of the birds, then choose a bird to focus their final drawing on. Students will then incorporate watercolor to bring their bird to life with color and vibrancy.
All materials are provided.

If you cannot attend a class, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email or phone is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund.
