Civic Kids Presents Disney’s Newsies Jr

The talented young performers of Civic Kids are ready to take center stage in Disney’s Newsies Jr., opening Friday, March 7 at 7:00 PM at The Dalles Civic Auditorium.
Directed by Robin Ott, this high-energy production brings the inspiring true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike to life. Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies Jr. follows the charismatic Jack Kelly and a band of determined newsboys as they rally together to stand up against powerful newspaper publishers. Featuring show-stopping songs like “Seize the Day” and “King of New York,” the musical celebrates courage, resilience, and the power of young people working together to create change.
