Central Gorge Master Gardeners present Raised Bed Workshop

Central Gorge Master Gardeners will hold a workshop on preparing raised beds for successful gardening on Saturday, October 14 from 10 AM to noon at the OSU Extension Campus, 2990 Experiment Station Road, Hood River, OR. Topics of raised bed construction, the benefits of using weed and hardware cloth, and Hügelkultur, a method of layering techniques to create a nutrient-rich, moisture preserving environment within the bed will be discussed. Refreshments will be provided by Central Gorge Master Gardeners and workshop participants will receive seed starting supplies donated by Hood River WalMart.

There is no cost or registration needed for this hands-on workshop and all are welcome. Arrive anytime during this workshop. Central Gorge Master Gardeners will provide you with details on this topic and answer your questions.
