Ready to explore the exciting world of linocut printmaking? In this 2-hour beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to design, carve, and print your very own linocut artwork. Unlike stamp carving, linocut focuses on creating larger, stand-alone prints – perfect for framing, gifting, or expanding your creative skills.

What to Expect:
We’ll start with an overview of linocut supplies, then I’ll demonstrate carving techniques. You’ll receive one linoleum block and guided instruction to help you design and carve confidently. For this session, we’ll work through a provided guided design, so that you can focus on learning the process and build your carving skills. What You’ll Take Away:

• Your first carved linoleum block

• A set of beautiful prints you’ve created from your block

• The confidence and techniques to continue linocut printmaking on your own

This event will be on Wednesday, October 1 at Ground Coffee Shop in Hood River, Oregon from 6:30-8:30 pm.
