The Spencer Marlyn Band is what happens when a looping wizard and a one-man drum circle collide. Formed in Bend, Oregon by two Mid-west transplants, this high-energy duo delivers the kind of sound you’d expect from a full band—genre-hopping their way through funk, reg gae, bluegrass, jam, folk, and psychedelia. Front man Spencer Marlyn combines captivating songwriting with a looping setup and effects pedal mastery, while percussionist Scottie brings a globally influenced punch, shaped by his background in West African rhythms and a wildly diverse drum kit. The result? A danceable, feel-good explosion of sound packed with originals and crowd-favorite covers.
