A twist on the classic

“Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol,” a unique reimagining by Tom Mula, puts Jacob Marley at the center of the story and introduces the enigmatic figure of the Bogle, a mischievous and unpredictable supernatural being. This intriguing addition adds layers of complexity to Marley’s redemptive journey, as the Bogle challenges and guides him through a Dickensian-inspired world of alternate realities. Mula’s inventive narrative weaves a compelling tapestry of redemption, fate, and the interplay between the spirit realm and human choices, giving audiences a fresh and captivating twist on a holiday classic.

Auditions for Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at 6:30pm and Sunday September 3 at 4:00 pm

at The Bingen Theater | 210 Oak St. Bingen, WA

While you are not required to be at both days of auditions, it may give you an opportunity to try something you hadn’t before. If you are able, it is encouraged to come to both.

• Please come prepared to showcase your range and versatility as an actor. This show is meant for actors to play a range of multiple roles.
• Sides (selections from the show) will be available on the website on Tuesday the 8th of August. It is not required that you familiarize yourself with them, but working with them now will give you a headstart.
• If you have a short monologue you would like to perform, we welcome and encourage that. It is also not required, but could very well be to your benefit.
