2024 Queen Tryouts

Must be between the ages of 14 and 20 by December 31, 2023, a Wasco County resident, be a grandchild of a Wasco County resident, or live within the bounds of the Warm Springs Reservation.

Must have a horse and transportation for you and your horse to appear at various events throughout the year.

Must be willing to participate in fundraisers for the Queen program.

Clothing for tryouts is a plain white or light-colored western blouse, jeans, boots, a western belt, and either a Western hat or helmet.
The horse should be under western tack.

As a Fair and Rodeo Queen, you will act as an ambassador representing the Wasco County Fair and Rodeo.

There is a $1,000 college scholarship and this is a wonderful opportunity to build your college resume.
